Meet Dr. Trina Baynes
Dr. Trina is passionate about providing the members of the Leduc community with cutting-edge treatment at the chiropractic care centre she owns with her husband, Dr. Bretton Baynes. At Baynes Family Wellness we welcome family members of every age and from every walk of life. For over a decade, we’ve emphasized a gentle, natural approach to health optimization through state-of-the-art treatment.
Dedication to Her Chosen Profession
Dr. Trina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Memorial University in Newfoundland. “A good friend of mine was studying to be a chiropractor at the time, and although I had no personal experience with it, I became fascinated with its philosophy: helping sick people get well without drugs or surgery. I thought of all the years that my dad had suffered from terrible back pain, only to end up on an operating table; how different his outcome might’ve been if he’d had chiropractic intervention!”
A Thirst for Knowledge
She followed her heart and intuition and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Trina also met her future husband during her studies, and the two ended up opening a thriving practice in 2007.
Dr. Trina has continued to expand her knowledge through various technique and nutrition seminars over the years, always with the goal of helping her patients through being a better doctor.
She has a particular love for treating moms-to-be and children and is attracted to the challenge of helping those with chronic pain.

On a Personal Note
Dr. Trina and her husband enjoy being active. They mountain bike, snowmobile and love to travel. She also spends time volunteering in her church and is on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Leduc.
