Meet Dr. Gus Mallis

Dr. Gus has operated a solo practice in Ponoka for over 19 years and is excited to now be joining Baynes Family Wellness. Dr Gus graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2005 with his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science degree.

Dr. Gus was drawn to chiropractic due to various sports related injuries growing up and soon found a properly functioning nervous system had an overall positive effect on his health. He now sees it in the patients he treats as well. A properly aligned spine improves overall health and performance. Dr. Gus adjusts from the perspective that subluxations cause body and mind miscommunication, malfunction and disease. Adjustments correct subluxations so your body can heal and function at its highest level.

In his time away from the office, Dr. Gus enjoys an active lifestyle. He enjoys camping, playing hockey, fishing and spending time with his wife and son. Dr. Gus coaches hockey with the Leduc Minor Hockey Association and plays in the OBHL.
